Terra Rossa Chianti Colli Senesi Riserva D.O.C.G.
Grape Variety:
Sangiovese.
Vineyards characteristics:
Vineyard situated in the Chianti area on medium-height hillsides with excellent exposure. Vines planted in a moderately compact soil.
Vinification:
Maceration is carried out according to the traditional method in stainless steel with floating caps for about 15 days at a controlled temperature (30).
Refinement/Ageing:
An average period of 18 months in French oak casks before bottling, followed by a further refinement in the bottle for no less than 4 months.
Conservation:
Up to 10-12 years, depending on vintage.
Colour:
Fairly intense ruby red coloured wine.
Fragrance:
Well-balanced, elegant with a richly-toned bouquet.
Taste:
Full and firm flavour with the right amount of tannins.
Serving temperature:
18-20°C.
Serving suggestion:
Excellent with roast red meats, game and poultry.
Availability:
In 0,75 litre bottles.
